A copy/paste extents feature would also be very useful when working with a
lot of similar maps (that would fit very well in a contextual menu and
reasonably well next to the «set extent» button)

I had the idea of using the vertical list of icons on the left, one for
each provider, and having the current providers widget/dialog that opens
normally when you press the button docked on the right. This would mean
the UI is more consistent with the other dialog that follow this style

I am trying to create something comprehensive, but small enough to be
included with SEXTANTE, so users can help us with unit testing. I
asked to see if I could save some time, but creating such a dataset
should not take me too long, anyway
