[Qgis-developer] Error in QGIS or not proper KML format?

When I recieve KML files from af public state bureau the point coordinates are written like this in the kml file: 8.43307284569448, 55.478226574306 When opening it in Qgis all points get a y coordinate of zero. Removing the blank between the "," and the y coordinate 55.478 solves the problem.

I now downloaded the 64 bit standalone installer and installed this 64 bit version too. It is just as quick as the above described 32 bit version (whích is also the standalone version) So it is apparently NOT a 32/64 bit question but a standalone/OsGeo4W question? - Regards Morten

At least in Win7 64 bit many plugins either ignore Qlonglong fields or regard them as text. It is quite annoying to have to store attributes as Real to be able to work in Qgis - especially since you have to add decimals as real 10.0 automatically is being converted to Qlonglong. And if you create

If I start QGIS with Grass by double clicking "C:\OSGeo4W64\bin\qgis-bin-g7.exe" the Grass path is wrong. If I start by double clicking on "C:\OSGeo4W64\bin\qgis-grass7.bat" the Grass paths are OK. On a colleagues PC he cannot start QGIS at all from the .exe but it works well using the .bat.
