Hello All,
I would like to upload shapefiles through QGIS into my Garmin 62 GPS
unit. I did a little research online and it appears that QGIS can only
upload files in the gpx format (please correct me if I'm wrong!). Does
anyone have any suggestions on alternative ways to accomplish this

Dear all,
I have the same problem with QGIS 1.8 installed on Ubuntu oneiric.
I don't see the menu Plugins/Fetch Python Plugins.

IAFK , You can upload a GPX file directly to a Garmin 62 GPS unit. So
your problem is how to convert your shapefile to a GPX file:
1. Right click on your shapefile layer in the Layers dialog. A menu
will be shown with several choices.
2. Chose Save As from the right click - menu.
Dear all,
I have installed (after some difficulties) the source files of Taudem to work
on my mac OS X 10.8 machine but am having an unusual issue. Every time I use a
function that generates a new raster, it will generate a tiff file that is
unreadable with an error message that says xxx.tif
it happens (very very often) that after filling fields of dbf table by means
of field calculator or typing directly, clicking the save button causes
the appearance of NULL value into fileds.
the only way to verify if all is well is closing table and then re opening.
sometimes null value continues
Yes, it happens to me once in a while. I don't recall the extract
circumstances each time it happened, except that it was while editing
shapefiles on a Windows machine

yes, i didn't mention that in my case it happens in qgis 1.8 and win7 and
it's hard to try to reply the problem with a specific dataset because it
seems that this happens randomly.

View this message in context:
i'd like to print a layout having pie diagrams, but it's impossible to get
some results because they are never printed out.
i tried also to force printing as raster but they do not appear.
not pdf, tif of svg, just only print screen (snapshot...)
is there any reason to explain that?
