Hi Antonio,
qgis-web-client [1] is a JavaScript webmap client based on GeoExt (which
is based on ExtJS and OpenLayers). You do not need any JS yourself, all
you need is doing the setup.

Hi,
This particular case uses a Postgis view where the tooltip is
containing HTML code that is displayed in the tooltip. So the magic is
done in the Postgis view, QGIS server transfers that code to the client
in GetFeatureInfo requests and QGIS web client is displaying it in a
tooltip.
Paolo,
Do you have more information? Or is your test installation somewhere
available online? Just the information that it fails, does not help me
at all. Any Javascript error messages? Is the GetProjectSettings request
issued correctly? If you copy that same request from Firebug - does it

I had to revert to an earlier version, to make it functional again.

Hi all,
just for clarification: the most recent version of qgis-web-client has a
popup on click, too (instead of the attribute tree to the right).
Any links contained in a field should be discovered and formatted as
links so one can follow them. This is only for the popup that opens when

Hi Paolo,
yes OL is included with qwc, so if you cloned it recently and have
implemented these files on the server youo should have the same version
as I do. Could you open OpenLayers.js in a editor and check the line?
Maybe insert a comment into it and then check in Firebug if it is really
William,
I got this after hacking the SDK with a bunch of links to GDAL, GEOS, PROJ and
the like frameworks. The hacking was enough and saga_gui is working now.
I will check the other approach in other machine and report.
Thanks

Hi Thomas,
Same here at my setup of the sample project. The click-popup is not
working here - but no error message.
The tree view on the right (east) is deliberately removed as it should
be replaced by the click-popup, which apparently currently isn't working
for some reason.
It may be some CSS

Hello,
I have just installed qgis web server and qgis web client on an ubuntu
12.04 LTS computer. The QGIS server seems OK : GetCapabilities on a

If I run qgis web client helloworld, the Loading map is showned and
Hi,
In js/GlobalOptions.js look for useGetProjectSettings or something similar and
set it to false. You are probably using QGis 1.8 which does not support the
GetProjectSettings command.

Hello again!
I tried different things today but without result.
First I wantes to update to the latest relaese of the qgis_mapserver,

Due to that, I assume, the GetProjectSettings-request does not work.

Good evening,
I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 and I would like to run several actions
automatically in qgis.
I'm trying to install Sextante on qgis 1.8 but the installation failed.
The problem was that rights to the .qgis folder was only granted to root.
So I fixed that but the installation still
Well, here is the complete error log :
Impossible de charger l'extension 'sextante' depuis
['/usr/share/qgis/python', '/home/nicolas/.qgis//python',
'/home/nicolas/.qgis//python/plugins', '/usr/share/qgis/python/plugins',
'/usr/lib/python2.7', '/usr/lib/python2.7/plat-linux2',
The problem is not in the path, but in the psycopg2 library, which is not
installed in your system. Try to install it separatey and you should have
no problems with SEXTANTE.
If you want to automate things in the console but not use SEXTANTE, just
delete that plugins/sextante folder. You do not
some plugins pop up a meaningful message at install time when requirements
are not on the system - would be nice to have that in sextante also.
cheers
