[Qgis-user] geotif to tif+tfw ?

I have a geotif with wrong projection settings. As far as I can see, even if I make a correct tfw QGIS is giving priority to the information within the geotif file (or am I wrong?) Is it possible to convert the geotif into just a tif file, so that the actual contents of the tfw would be used for

Thank you all. In addition to your solutions, the problematic DEM tif has been corrected in the server http://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/digital-elevation-model-of-europe/ elevation1x1_new.zip is correct now (weird projection though: like 3035 but with lon_0=20) Agus 2010/11/22 Mike
