What I have on ubuntu janty with qgis 1.2.0 is: setwd(/media/Transcend/QGIS_EXPERIMENTAL/Rcatuav2) ls() character(0) load(.RData) ls() [1] flCAST flFSTF [3] flightlines flPC ... and everything seems to work. Perhaps you should add a load workspace button within tab Workspace. I
