Hallo Nicolas,
thank you for your reply. All my project files are on one network drive and I
prefer to use geopackages. Perhaps it the problem is, that I install qigs from

Hallo Rich,
Thank you for testing and investing time on my problem. That is very
nice. But i think you missunderstood my question, sorry.
I can load shp-files etc from the windows-server. The problem is, that
I want to open a project with a lot of layers (20 and more) that was

Hi Thomas,
You can uncompress the qgz project file. Open it in a regular text
editor and check the path for each layer.
How it looks like? Is it a relative path? Does it make sense on the
linux box?

Jorge

If anybody is following this topic, I can confirm that the issue has been
resolved in v3.22.3.
Thank you Nyall for getting back to me and the team that keeps this software
continuously getting better and better.

I did a quick test. I installed QGIS 3.22 on a Windows 7 computer, created
a project. Switched to Linux Mint, used the file manager to navigate to the
Windows computer, double clicked the project and it opened correctly. The
path that QGIS displays in the properties/info panel is:

the /run path in Linux shouldn't be used for file access as it is

I have read the information at
https://docs.qgis.org/3.22/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/general_tools.html#identify
but that doesn't answer my questions.
Is there

Hello,
Yes I would say the problem is in the flatpak version of Qgis, since I
experienced inability to access files over a NFS share.
You would need to find the people who produce the flatpak edition and
raise this issue with them.
Are you able to use a native packaged version of Qgis?
