Looks like it was the matplotlib that the plugin wanted and it just complained about both dependencies. Dug in to the readme and numpy is included in the install via pip. Per instructions in the readme I was able to load matplotlib using sudo -H pip3 install matplotlib in the terminal. Plugin

I saw this note on the KyngChaos main page - the last line indicates to me that William is looking into it QGIS 3.0.0-3 QGIS 3.0.0-3 should fix the non-working GRASS problem. The key was my adding the "3" to the app name with a space, the GRASS internals didn't like that. So I removed the space -

Hi All - hoping someone has a solution. I'm getting some strange behavior of QGIS 3.2.3 (but has been the same for all 3.X versions). Opening the app, and within the app opening save and file open dialogues is EXTREMELY slow and freezes the computer completely until the dialogue process completes.
