When John Gilpin reported battery problems I thought it's about time to
check my Super Gold Cards which I have not used since April and I have
never changed their batteries.
One SGC (+QL) stopped at the F1/F2 prompt, the battery was labelled
"92.12" and was completely empty.
Another SGC (+Q
address for Davide.

Hi John,
Thanks for this. It sounds straight forward enough but a picture would
be most welcome. where did you get the CR2032 Coin Cell Holder from? I
already have a couple of batteries - available from our local ASDA Super
Store - as I had to replace one in my PC only a couple of weeks ago.

I have two identical rigs each one comprising Aurora + Super Gold Card +
QuBide all mounted in a Pandora Case with other components - Hard Disk,
PSU, Floppy Drive etc. - Until recently, each rig would self start -
with no need to select F1 or F2 and each maintained perfect time and date.
