Does anybody know, why the original code from QL.Chess does not run on
emulators in 3D Mode? The text-only screen does run (on Atari SMSQ/E) but
after switching to 3D, the machine crashes.
Does it write into ROM area, where there is RAM on emulators?

Does anyone have a cracked version that runs under any of the
emulators? Better still, does nayone know the format of the saved game
files in the QL version? I play chess reasonably seriously (used to be
county standard - but not any more!). All my games from the 80s are
carefully stored as
