I can confirm the problem!
Same here.
I have set the Files/Tree option to expand the file list, thus forcing
the Files window to the max (1888x1012a6x54).
There I also found the PARSER_TASK file that immediately locked my
SMSQ/E, no keyboard or mouse response anymore, no Lock icon either

Giorgio Garabello pointed out to me that my csizetest program on the
website (www.wlenerz.com/QLstuff) didn't work correctly (I forgot to
link in some extensions).
This works now, and thanks to Giorgio.
