Hi Tony,
I believe that 'Per ardua ad astra' is indeed the RAF motto.
'Sic itur ad astra' is the motto of my home town, Elgin way up North (under
the snow at the moment !)
And 'illegitamus non carborundum' is something else altogether :o)
Norman.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] would do the job.
Both RAF and NASA use the motto, but is dated back to the romans ...

Since BetterBasic and CrossRef by Chas Dillon have been released into the PD,
I'm thinking about recompiling them with the new Turbo and making them
available. I've recompiled BetterBasic and it against some code and it seemed
to work fine.
The problem is that BetterBasic did not come with a

Welcome to the QL users mailing list, Paride. Hope you'll be with the
QL for a long time!
Hi All,
By Now, you all will have noticed my absence at the Hove Show -
unfortunately this couldn't be helped for two reasons..
Firstly, I was seriously snowed in!! About 10-12 inches of snow in places,
and 2-3 foot drifts at my main gate. I'm been snowbound since last Tuesday,
and only

The circuit that works for me is:
QL SCART
Red 715
Green 611
Blue87
Csynch 416 /\/\/ 20
220 ohm
GND 25/9/13/17
I've got almost the same...except:
Csync4
The problem is that BetterBasic did not come with a manual and CrossRef only
came with a short one. Does anyone have an electronic version of either of
these manuals? Since the code is in the PD, does this also apply to the
manual? Or does anyone care?
I only have the BetterBasic update

Poorly attended, but not surprising given the limited publicity, foot and
mouth, and bad weather forecast. Still what I would describe as a successful
trading show and a good sfeer. Good hall, better
Robert,
If you could send what you have in plain ASCII that will give me a good start.
Anybody know if the manuals were part of the deal when Chas Dillon released the
source code to these programs? Or should I not worry?

All right, all right, I'm throwing the PC away already...
Is that enough atonement?
