Just a share, and maybe someone can help me too...
I recently get the smsq/e source and I tried to compile it for my Q40.
(As part of my first step before entering any patch-frenzy mode...).
The How-to is great, but I nevertheless encountered the following problem:

Yes I did , but I am using the first released version
of sources with win1 instead of dev devices.
Time by time I apply the patches .

How did you do (or what do I need to get) ?
Yes. Just fiddled a few lines in the *_bas programs to suit my setup and it
compiled out of the box. Have still not got round to trying the resulting
code yet,
