Mosaic is no longer being updated. I've also heard of Konquerer. On a
Slashdot poll it scored close to Mozilla and Firebird in percentage used
(where as Opera only hit at about 3%).
I think that, as far as browsers go, there are only three
modern/maintained browsre engines around at this moment.

1. IE
2. Opera
3. Mozilla
The Mozilla browser has an engine called Gecko, with a XUL interface
which uses Gecko at its core. Many other browsers like Mozilla, Firefox,
Netscape navigator etc use either of these engines for all the
rendering. Konquerer (linux) is also one of those, as is Camino (Mac).
Camino uses Gecko only (not XUL), not sure about Konguerer.

I didn't forget it, I didn't know :) This is indeed one of the most
 important things about
Opera, I admit, I only know one thing to be more important, that is, Opera
 is also available
in Plattdeutsch which is a dialect spoken only in North Germany, where I

Must be good if available in the language of heaven (Welsh). Or perhaps that
should read if they can understand Welsh to produce a Welsh version, it must
be good (Welsh is not the easiest language to master).

I'm an exiled-ish Geordie lurker since I only live in Newcastle at the
weekends, and I did a 'proper' version of the Windaz2000 email that went
round a few years ago :) Not sure if I've got time to regionalise browsers
though - I'm a Moz Firefox user and have been since v0.6 or thereabouts.
Fantastic browser because it's fast, small and above all, free but with a
lot of behind the scenes developers. Opera takes up too much real estate for
me

Cheers

Yes.

'yours truly' is the same thing as 'myself'

'courtesy of' means 'done by'

so:

It is available in Greek, done by me

Since no one else has jumped in with help on this yet, would you mind
digging through for a sample of your 'C' code showing the proper use of
the new system sprites. It would really help me a lot.

Has anyone used the new system sprites from C68? This would be using
it in the window definition which was originally a pointer to a

I have tried it by defining 2 bytes such as:
unsigned short test_sprite = 0x0008;[ byte 0 = 0x00 for a
system sprite
0x08 for the sprite number ]
and then doing a pointer to its address from the proper loose item
field:
test_sprite,
If I point to one of the normal sprites (with byte 0 = 0x01) I get
the expected sprite. But when I do the above all I get is a red 'X'
sprite, no matter what sprite number I use.
Any ideas? If someone has used the new system sprites, could you
supply sample code and instructions?
I think I did use the system sprite from C68.
I used an array of char instead of a short... It did work, or so I
believe.

I would have to dig that code if you do not get a better answer.
