I've been using qlgt on ubuntu, I updated qlgt following instructions in

to try to figure out how to fix it since I want to change distros

I personally do not see the issue. What OSM is requesting is very
reasonable. I appreciate the hard word you've done on this application,
but forcing the occasional user like me to figure this out and add this
in is not a good idea in my opinion.

When you double click a track it gets highlighted on the map. How do
you return it to normal (no highlight)? The only way I've found to do
this it to select another track.

I have several geo-referenced pdf's. I can load them 1 at a time, but I

Oliver, Thanks for the great work. It took me a while to dive into it

I just upgraded OS, reinstalled qlgt and now qlgt isn't loading my

When I plug my garmin montana into the computer (usb), the tracks on the
Garmin are automatically loaded and displayed in qmapshack. I don't
usually want the tracks displayed automatically since it's too much
clutter. I have to click on each one individually to remove from the
display.
Is there any way to change the sort order of the tracks displayed in the
workspace or database? I would like to sort by name or date.

QMS can read a file directly from the Garmin Zumo XT. I just tested it
using the menu: File->'Load GIS Data'.
It seems to me like this is simply using the file manager, not directly
with QMS.
No reason for Oliver to dive into this, the file manager (thunar) devs
have already handled it.
A gmap img displayed in QMS shows the tile borders. Is there a way to
turn this off? They don't show up with the same map loaded on a garmin.
thx
