3K, 10K, etc., messages. Is there any other cause for this? How could I
force serialmail to send them?

haven't touched the queue by hand in any moment (other than to view
(that is, *read*) some files). It certainly looks very odd to me...

that, after adding unsubbing information in the footer of the message,
you will *still* receive mails from people asking "remove me" or "how do
I unsub".

when it was a directory. Once I created said directory, it worked
without problems.
