1) MX for somedomain.com pointing at his machine
2) Put
somedomain.com:joe-local
in virtualdomains
3)For each local user bob, create
cat ~joe/.qmail-local-bob
bob
4) create ~joe/.qmail-local-default
|forward $DEFAULT@ME
(and disregard my previous silly suggestion)

Thanks for the suggestions. I now have at least 3 ways to get qmail to do
what I want (and one was in the FAQ, should have read more carefully).
