Hi- I'm running autorespond 2.0.4 and qmailadmin 1.2.1 on gentoo linux. I'd like to add the following to my autorespond message headers so that my Japanese messages automatically display properly in mail clients. Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding:

After trudging through several Japanese pages on the subject, here is what the Japanese do to get around the problem (shift-jis not utf-8). First go to /usr/local/share/qmailadmin/lang and run the following command. $ cat ja | nkf -j ja change the first line of the ja file to: iso-2022-jp
