i have one confusion. according to my understanding fetchmail will pop all
mails lying at ISP server. if i want that Fetchmail will pop the mails of few
selected users and rest of the mails will be on ISP server than in this case
what i have to do???

I found a script on a VMWare community site that is a champ! It makes a
snapshot and does a backup then removes the snapshot, so you see no downtime
