I created a new tls cert and servercert.pem, self signed.

I think the issue is with the certificate.
When I restart qmail, the message

Hello all
I just finish a final exam and so maybe I am just a little confused about
this email I am getting.
My toaster has been working great.
Then I started getting these emails Fri, May 2, 2008 8:20 pm
I got 5 of them on that friday, about a minute apart.
I then got one on sunday
A colleague of mine had a similar issue last week. I had suggested he
make sure his clamd and spamassasin where up to date on version. He ended
up updating his spamassasin database, which fixed the problem.

This is a stupid question, but I cant find a specific answer in the

Got it,
It was a combination of RBLs and 52000 email in the inbox.
Sorry for wasting your time.

so when upgrading Spamassassin, using the default configs is fine? That

After backing them up, just before the upgrade is actually done (when

I would recommend doing an upgrade (using qtp-newmodel) first. Your
version
of clamav in particular is problematic.
For fixing TLS, see http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Certificate.

The users are sending email with thunderbird and it is periodically
failing when thunderbird tries to connect to the smtp.
the only error I see is in /var/log/maillog
Apr 1 15:57:47
imap and pop3 are working fine
I am able to send on both ports.
The mail does send smtp with thunderbird on port 587 but gives this in
maillog:

fail (pass: 'XXX') [EMAIL PROTECTED]@mydomain.com:72.xxx.xx.xxx

And just to be clear,
The users I mentioned in the first post are all sending on 25.

I use mailman, but let me tell you, thats some work getting installed.
For aliases, I use valias, in the vpopmail/bin/ directory.
