I've noticed this too Could there be a bug in qmailadmin / mailfilter here By default there is no .qmail in a users folder and editing the account does not create one .. but qmailadmin does maintain it. if you install dspam https://raw.githubusercontent.com/qmtoaster/dspam/ it creates the

I experienced this a very long time ago receiving mail from one of the paid spam services. I never did figure it out because I could not repeat it at will. I tried using recordio but never got the error while using it. If you can use recordio and repeat the problem I'd be interested in seeing
