RE: [qmailtoaster] Squirrelmail Skins
I have that same issue. I was recommended nutsmail and looking at it, you would actually have to integrate the nutsmail install with the current squirrel you have. But I do expect them to have scripts in place to ease the integration. However, I assume that those familiar with web programming could actually revamp the default squirrel interface. Re: [qmailtoaster] Quota quandry.
Ok there are lots of post about Quotas so if you search a bit you may fine better answer. There is the Domain quota set in vqadmin when you build the domain. Set in bytesThen when you build each email account in qmailadmin. quota set in megabytessomedomain.net qouta set at 42949672960 40gig for the domain.. Vqadmin[EMAIL PROTECTED] account quota se at 1000 megabytes. You should be able to have 40 eamail accounts. Not sure on all the exact math here but I think you should get the picture.bdDairenn Lombard wrote: Hi again,Just wondering... The quota that we set when first creating an account doesn't appear to be the true quota limit per domain. It seems to be the quota per email address created. He saw one domain with a 200MB limit go beyond 300MB when few e-mail accounts got created. There is some concern about this because another domain was found to have a 201 email account limit. For example; if our customer creates all of the POP accounts they're allowed to create, and then each account uses up all of the space they're limited to, it ends up being 40GB used for ! just that
Re: [qmailtoaster] Squirrelmail Skins
I don't know how the original squirrelmail is modified for the whole toaster setup. If it is only preconfigured, I think we could take the config.php or only the values for the nutsmail one. The big problem I think, is that the squirrelmail version 1.4.x is not build for different skins, I read that this will be a feature in the Version 1.5. So all nice skins out there, are big modifications to the orig. squirrelmail. So if there is an security issue and we have to update, we have to wait for the nutsmail people to build also a new version. Currently I think it would be better to look around if there is another webmail working with qmail (vpopmail, etc) which looks a litte bit better than squirrelmail. Or we could find some arguments for the users why this simple webmail interface is better that those which a lot of images, javascripts and so on :-) bg christian. - Original Message - From: Riezal Ross [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: qmailtoaster-list@qmailtoaster.com Sent: Monday, March 13, 2006 10:31 AM Subject: RE: [qmailtoaster] Squirrelmail Skins I have that same issue. [qmailtoaster] Qmail dropping emails with attachments
I have had my qmail server up and running for almost 8 months with no problems, but sometime in the last week or so I have been having my end users not receive some emails that have attachments on them. I use my qmail server as a mail gateway to my internal exchange server. I am showing that the message does terminate at the qmail server not the exchange server. This problem does not affect all messages with attachments. I have had customers send the email and the attachments to my gmail account then I forward them to an internal account and the message comes in just fine, or if they send me an email without attachments I get the email just fine. Has any else had a problem like this or can point me into the right direction. Joshua Hopkins

RE: [qmailtoaster] spam not getting marked
I'm not sure if toaster can do that folder thing you want. As far as I know, mails that get marked as spam and below the score of 12, will still get delivered to the users mailbox as an attachment, but the subject will be marked with SPAM. Any mails with spam score more than 12, will be dropped immediately by maildrop. On my setup, the autolearn also shows No. I have no idea why. Maybe the experts could give an explanation for you. Ok two questions How do I enable spam folders per user so that anything that does get marked spam goes to the spam folder of the user it was destined for. Also, the headers above say autolearn is off, Isn't autolearn a good thing? Should I turn that on? thanks paul --- Paul H [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Yep followed the guide at www.qmailtoaster.com/info/EZ-QmailToaster-MailServer.txt which has that step in the guide, qmailctl stat clamd: up (pid 1989) 43603 seconds imap4: up (pid 1987) 43603 seconds imap4-ssl: up (pid 1985) 43603 seconds pop3: up (pid 1993) 43603 seconds pop3-ssl: up (pid 1991) 43603 seconds send: up (pid 1978) 43603 seconds smtp: up (pid 1979) 43603 seconds spamd: up (pid 1983) 43603 seconds clamd/log: up (pid 1982) 43603 seconds imap4/log: up (pid 1988) 43603 seconds imap4-ssl/log: up (pid 1986) 43603 seconds pop3/log: up (pid 1990) 43603 seconds pop3-ssl/log: up (pid 1992) 43603 seconds send/log: up (pid 1980) 43603 seconds smtp/log: up (pid 1981) 43603 seconds spamd/log: up (pid 1984) 43603 second -paul --- Riezal Ross [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Have you checked if you have spamassassin clamd running?
