Ah, of course. Not dynamically linked. But it still doesn't work. I get this
error in the smtp log:
vmysql: sql error[3]: Table 'vpopmail.hoodwink_us' doesn't exist
I AM able to authenticate with POP-SSL successfully now. But message delivery
is broken. So then I rebuilt the qmail-toaster RPM
I'm not sure if this is related, but I notice vdominfo reports zero users (when
there should be two plus postmaster):
[EMAIL PROTECTED]/0 qmail]$vdominfo
domain: hoodwink.us
uid:89
gid:89
dir:/home/vpopmail/domains/hoodwink.us

I'm sorry too. Squirrelmail didn't even occur to me. I rarely use it,

Sorry but as Eric says I don't use Squirrelmail at all, I was pretty
sure that he did mean Outlook address book or something in that range.
Again sorry.

Reloaded /var/qmail/control/simversions.cdb
as part of the output from that command?

It was funny though, that we were so far off! :)
Goes to show how important it is to be a specific as possible when
describing problems. Not an easy thing to do (especially in the heat of the
moment).

My brain was going lost pst file, do a search in M$ for *.pst the next

service qmail cdb.
# service qmail cdb
Reloaded /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp
Reloaded /var/qmail/control/badmimetypes.cdb

What you're looking for is probably in /var/lib/squirrelmail/prefs

I seem to have pop3-sll working ok from Thunderbird.
However, when I check Use secure authentication, I get Mail server does
not support secure authentication.
What am I missing?

Greetings,
Would people prefer updates to move from devel to the main site faster
or do you like it as is, where they stay on devel for about a month
before going to the release site?
Thanks,
Erik

Might still be a DNS, as it doesn't look like shailvita is pointing to
the correct ip. Unless, of course, 61.11.11.x was just an example of
an IP.
$ host -t mx shailvita.homeunix.com
shailvita.homeunix.com mail is handled by 10 shailvita.homeunix.com.
$ host shailvita.homeunix.com
I think they are fine the way they are, some updates need runtime,
before general
release, doing it the way you do at least will mean that whoever
downloads it,
knows it is in testing.

Hey Mattias,
I'm pretty quick with the updates, just that I leave them on the devel
site for a while before moving to the main site.
I can move them sooner if that's preferred. Just thought I'd get some feedback.
Thanks,
Erik

Hi Erik,
I guess I could be more proactive and check the devel site more frequently,
but only tend to check the main site for updates. From that point of view I
would like to see spamassassin updates move from the devel site to the main
site faster say one week or two max on the devel site then
It's definitely not listening in. Perhaps you have a firewall.
