Re: [qmailtoaster] Getting multiple copies of emails
I had the problem in the past Form clients that where configuted through .qmail- files and SQL. Removing the. qmail-files solved the behaviour. Andreas Am 31. Re: [qmailtoaster] Getting multiple copies of emails
can you request your customer to change email client application? such as ms 2007 to 10 or 10 to 7 or 16. We didface similar issue and solved by changing email client software. -- -- Best Regards Muhammad Tahnan Al Anas On Sat, Jun 1, 2019 at 6:35 AM Jeff Koch wrote: > Hi List > > The problem seems to have dissipated. Re: [qmailtoaster] Getting multiple copies of emails
Hi List The problem seems to have dissipated. This issue started when the CPU began reporting overheating problems. We shutdown the server and replaced the CPU fan. For several days afterwards we began getting 10-20 copies of all emails received from outside the server. Even after deleting them they would come back. I suspect the mail files weren't being appended with the correct code or had an incorrect code and, as a result, dovecot would keep sending the same emails out to the email client. Anyway, the problem seems to have gone away but what a mess and we had lots of customer complaints. Re: [qmailtoaster] Getting multiple copies of emails
I've seen duplicate emails when the server is very heavily loaded. If you had any runaway processes that were causing loads to spike, you could get duplicates. In the past I remember this kind thing happening with the old Courier IMAP. Upgrading to Dovecot solved the issue. Buit you probably are running Dovecot already?
