I'm thinking about purchasing?the Quickie Shadow Mach 2?handcyle from
sportaid.com.?
Has anyone purchased a handcycle online?? Is the Shadow a good handcycle??
I'm going to take a Walking for fitness class next semester and I thought
this would be an awesome way to exercise.

Today makes me 10 years post. It's funny how we all remember the date like a
birthday or something, I know a lot of us got paralyzed in the month of August.
I was 40 at the time, i'm now 50. Don't know if I can last 10 more, but i'm
gonna try.
Congratulations Dan,
I know I felt the same way as you Dan. Now we hear of someone, Henry living
53 years ago was so sorry to hear about his syrinx as many of you know about
their pain, which is hard to treat and worry about their growth ? Please
correct me if I'm wrong, Billy or anyone
Congrats on #10, Dan.

Luke,
I purchased the Oxy cycle, off-line. It serves my purpose. I am paralyzed
on the right side, so I have to have my right foot tied up to the pedal with
a nylon stocking. It is electric, and the speed is adjustable.

Hi Dan,
Hang-in there, buddy. I really believe the 10-20 years SCI post are the best
ones. Then when you're 20 years post, the 20-30 years are the best. Come to
think of it, whatever the years post that you are living, are always the best!
Stay strong.
With Love,

Hi Dana,
You don't look a day older than 23 years post. I'm so glad to hear your
evening turned out so well. I too enjoy hearing about the good times for
everyone. For me a great way to spend my anniversary is with family and
friends, plenty of laughter and peace, and a whole lot of
Dan,
For sure, you can last another 10 years. You probably thought you couldn't
last these past 10 years, but you did. Congratulations on making it the past
10 years! Look forward to the future. I only two years post, and those
were our hardest to years of my life (I'm 50 years old).
Dave,
I agree with you. Any days or years post, are good years. I know most of
us probably thought we wouldn't live to see the next day, but was still here.
Praise God!

Hey Dan,
It was 9/11 for me so how can I forget that!
We all remember easily I guess, I still have trouble remembering my families
b-days but no way I can forget my anniversary.
I know you can last another 10 Dan but looking forward to doing it is my
problem so I take it day by day.
Glad
I purchased mine late in 96 from Sammons Preston. I got cheaper of the two
cycles.
1. Saratoga cycle - a bit more pricey.
2. Colorado cycle - the same as 1, but cheaper.
To this day I still use it. Everything works fine still. The cost was
roughly $700.00 for just the hand cycle and I had
Anybody have advice,
A year ago the chest belt on my old Levo standing wheelchair came open
accidentally while I was sitting. The chest belt latch has a lever which is
easy to catch with clothing or even reaching across my chest with my left arm.
Unfortunately when I stood up to adjust

Tim,
Sorry to hear about your accident, and about the pain and suffering you've
had to endure. Sounds to me like you need to consult with an attorney. They
will be good at letting you know what type of liability case you should
pursue

I truly wish you loads of luck. You will need more that you did when you
chose to use your
old Levo standing chair. As you know and your attorney will find out Levo
was a Swiss Based Company with a North American Office in Atlanta, Ga. In
2006, Levo was sold to Dane and the company has
I was referring to mobile handcycles (the giant adult tricycles).
I believe the stationary ones, like the saratoga,?are called arm bikes.
Sorry for not making myself more clear before.

Hey,
Im in the process of ordering one from Sportaid from a c5 quad that works
