Hey gang! I'm back for a while. I need some help with a situation. Several
months ago, I was semi-dropped onto the bed and I began having weird
sensation on my left hip all the way down my leg. Turns out that it broke
T-12. Obviously the doctor couldn't do anything to help it.
Have any of you

Here is an alternative that I think would work. My son in law used it to
seal his camper and it is flexible and rough texture. Just be sure and cut
some holes in the route to allow moisture to escape. It is used for bed
liners in shocks and works well. Good luck, and many thanks for the
does anyone know where i can find the ''telestik with velcro strap''

Yes it was/is permanent. No regrets at all.
Do you "feel" any different other than the pain?
What kind of pain is it?
I have none stop all, at T-12 anyway

I can wear button-down shirts and other things, but I have to wear my strap
across my body. It goes from my left shoulder down to my right hip. Just
like a seatbelt.
I have a friend that did the same thing Joan did and it worked out fine for
him.

Welcome back!!!
Isn't odd that you/we don't think nothing of breaking your back?!
I had surgery to cut the nerves at T-12 called a ryzodomy. It was to stop
extreme leg spasms, and it did the job.

Thanks for the reply Bobbie!
Was the ryzodomy surgery to cut the nerves at T-12 a permanent solution?
I have sensation to touch all over my body. I don't really want to lose the
ability to feel. Just want the painful part to go away?

Back When, we used to use metal bottle caps, upside down and short
nails. Worked great on wood platforms ramps.

hi,
For those who live in the frigid winters in the nothern states, what do
you use for traction on wooden ramps?
I have used the anti-slip tape($150) but it does not last more than 1-2
winters nor give you great traction.
I have stained my ramp. My friend tried sand in paint but it did not
Roofing Shingles are cheap and can be easily changed when needed. You
should have ample drain slots in the ramp to allow for proper drainage. There
is also a pre-soak that you can spray or have sprayed on the wood, before
an impending storm that will prevent snow and ice from forming. It
