Congrats on passing. Good luck with finding the perfect ride for you. I
haven't seen a minivan with a power back seat but I have seen a full-size van
with one. The hand controls, blinkers, headlights, horn, etc. will have to be
tailored to your abilities. Each person is different.

Who does repairs? Is there a local vendor?
Thanks,

Hey there all,
I am taking a break from the Quad list. No, I'm not feeling bad --
Why would you want an Ibot? There are other chairs that are more rugged
for outdoor terrain and others (all having years of use) that do
everything that the Ibot does except climb 'some' stairs. If I were
you, I would try the Ibot for a month or two before shelling out that
kind of money.
Congrats Hec.I tried one and found it 'interesting'. Have you tried
one? If so, i won't ask you a bunch of questions. Here is my docu-trial
recap.

Hi Luke,
Way to go, buddy! Having your own van is the way to go...driving your own

Well, wish me luck guys. My doc just called and said I have a double whammy of
bacteria in a sore on my tailbone. One is pseudumonas and the other MRSA. I
have ten days of iv treatment twice a day staring at me plus daily injections
of roceferin. Oh boy, I just can't wait!
That sounds scary! My prayers are with you!

I think the Ibots are pretty cool, and look great.
But they were just to slow for me. I drive around outside a lot and go
pretty far at times. I need the speed. Unfortunately, I needed a mid-wheel
drive (7.5 mph). I could not get the real fast rear-wheel drive chairs (11
mph).
Greg
Wooohooo I'm
I'll be praying too. That MRSA sure is getting around.

If an Ibot is what you want and you think it will make you more accessible to
your work, GO FOR IT. Good Luck with this new adventure.
