PT's, work with the muscles and nerves. An OT specialize in making
adaptions to improve your mobility life and those things around you. A CRT, is
the
personal who makes the equipment and can repair or modify your equipment, to
meet YOUR goals.
Having a good OT and CRT, will assure you
CORRECT Ron -- do not sign on the dotted line until you make sure everything
is working, you try it out, etc. The PERMOBIL Vendor in NY let me try one
out for a week (probably a model or used chair) and I remember that. No
problems zooming under tables, desks, etc.
But, I waited 1 1/2 years
I feel like Lori. I have also had more chairs but I hate all the tweaking you
go through when you have to replace a chair. My chair looks like it has been on
a long ugly road, but I'm use to it. I have seen 25 year old Peremobiles. I
have no idea how to get one with CMS. I may wind up replacing
Anyone have Permobil's RS seating system? Thinking of getting one, need input.

I think that which is equally important is knowing your chair ... inside and
out. Know how it works and know the terminology of your chair and its parts
and components you are at the mercy of the person who must repair your
equipment. You have to ask question and
