Re: [QUAD-L] Live in Aide
no one can answer this question. it has a realm of questions in itself and the individual your hiring. will they have a $400.00 car paymnt, insurance, other expenses such as clothing. are you paying them under the table or will they need to pay taxes? i'm going to chime in at $2,000 a month. now anyone NEEDING a place to stay just might be the one you can't depend on. could also depend on where you live. dianna -Original Message- From: memys...@cox.net [mailto:memys...@cox.net] Sent: Monday, June 15, 2015 9:25 AM To: quad-list@eskimo.com Subject: [QUAD-L] Live in Aide Those with live-in attendants, other than room and board, how much do you pay them? Re: [QUAD-L] Live in Aide
True, Like Dianna and others said, It depends on whom you hire and what they are willing to do as a live in caregiver. In my area sleeping rooms alone go for an average of $100-$150 each week, So you figure that person can save at least $600 per month on rent, Plus they will not need to pay utility bills if you do, so they save that way also,After figuring that stuff in, then you need to write a list of all you want done and see how much cash they want on top of the free live in home, Like Dianna said if they just want pay under the table, they usually take a bit less, but you need to work out a monthly pay for them that you can both be happy with. Good luck, let us know how it works out when you get it all set up down the road. I hear you guys. I usually wake up with a cold sweat. Wife turns on the ceiling fan and I freeze. The morning sun is like heaven to eliminate the chills and clammy feeling. I'm just lucky to have her still taking care of me going on almost 18 years like this. Dan H.** On Monday, June 15, 2015 8:45 PM, greg g...@eskimo.com wrote: Nice things about AZ this time of year. That means the AC in the house is on a lot too. It's always something. Maybe Hawaii, nice and even all year. Greg
