Hi Jim, I would check out http://www.okdhs.org/ and use their OK ADvantage Waiver Program's Specialized equipment and supplies pay for the chair. http://www.okdhs.org/programsandservices/aging/docs/#find I would have my Doctor order it, and go from there. I am being discriminated against due to my disability. I am ignorant about where to go for help. The agencies in Oklahoma that are supposed to help have not done so. I now realize how ignorant I am letting that attorney take that documentation concerning the appeal. But I have been on pain med's over 7 years which really impaired my judgement and I really screwed up. I am currently living in a home in my most integrated setting. Not having a dependable wheelchair to use daily is making living here increasingly difficult. Any advice on how to climb out of this hole would be much appreciated. Glory to GOD Sincerely, Jim Rice .

I was under the impression that you could sue VR thru the State Advocates Group listed in the back of your VR book. Consider making contact with your local Indepedent Living Center. If you don't know of one, ask. You have several in the state that are Federally Funds, to protect your rights.
