video capture comparison

2003-03-16 Thread David Deckert
I'd like a comparison between the video capture capabilities between say, : a Q630, 62/63xx and 6500 when each has the optional RCA and/or cable TV-in ports and something like a 7500 or 7600 that already has that built in. Are there differences in how big the on screen picture can be, how

For my utter stupidity I apologise unreservedly. Vincenzo, I got ARA 4 to work by keeping it not actually in, but nearby, the Quad. My drag-install experiment involved dragging another Mac near the Quad. Although the other computer has OS 9.2.2 and even OS X, the Quad still ran smoothly.

I also took the advice of many Quadlisters to finally buy Alsoft DiskWarrior 2.1.1 for my other machines, and one question remains. Before I give away the 476, have you guys had good luck with DiskWarrior on your Quads? It's fine on a Quadra. I think it'll run on the old OSes (say, from a

I use Pegasus Mail on my PC and I wouldn't be without it. I've used their Mac client. It's not bad, but it doesn't compare to Eudora Light either. Nathes, I remember using Pegasus back when all I had was a PC, and remember it being OK at the time. FYI the Mac version is no more, however.

... one of mine, anyway. You've got a Mac running 7.1 because of its small size and speed. You want a simple email client also small and fast. Ability for two acounts would be nice, but not absolutely necessary. Ability to smoothly handle Rich Text would be a plus because the user won't
