I want to replace the native 'Apple' (Matshita?) CDROM in a Quadra 630 and I remember reading here recently that the width of the replacement drive shld match the original 'Apple' unit as closely as possible, as there is very little room to spare in the bay. I'd be very grateful if anyone tell me

It is working fine on the Q630 - now serving 18 hours a day. Because I'm either morbidly curious or just compulsively nosy, what's the 630 serving? :) -- the pickle To satisfy your curiousity... It is an internal file/mp3/backup server for my other 4 machines (2 wired + 2 wireless).
