What if you hook up the 9GB to the stock bus and format it there, after which you can move it over to the ATTO? On a similar note, I'm trying to format/init a SCSI HD for use in a Duo Dock. If I open up my Performa 636CD will there be a SCSI connector to use, or can I unplug the CD ROM and

OK, I have an ATTO SilconExpress UWSCSI card in my 840av now (instead of the 40GB disk) with two Seagate LVD UWSCSI drives on it. Both drives work, the 1GB actually boots and is fine. The problem I have is the 9GB drive I have (Seagate Cheetah 18XL) is too large to be used as an HFS volume, I
