I would expect the 2+2 Manual to have the same.

The headlight flap relay is supplied with power direct from the battery
so the flaps close even if you've turned the ignition off.
In the lights off/flap up situation there is power from the battery via
the normally closed contact in the relay (relay shouldn't be powered) to
the park contact
That should just make the flaps not go down as the relay wouldn't get
energised.

It's probably a short between the up (normally closed) and down
(normally open) outputs from the relay, or the wires from there to the
motor.
Maybe the engine place had to unplug the wires and put
