Hello
I have a 2+2 rollbar that I no longer need, it was going to go on a project
that never came to anything
Collection from Lancaster/Lancs, can post at cost, availability end of
April. No cost for the item, but if you wanted to make a charitable
donation to a good cause that would ensure
Have a look on xrtwo.com forums, there's usually people breaking cars or
who have parts. It's not for the faint hearted though, just so's you know.

If your old wheels are in decent nick I may be interested in them. I'm
looking for a set of earlier wheels
In the meantime, I've also been looking on Wheelworx, alloywheels.com and
wheelbase, all seem to have 14s available with/without tyres

Dark'ish blue 2+2 was a surprise to see on the M61 heading towards
Manchester this morning! I waved, but then thought the driver may be
wondering why some guy in a Fiesta was waving like a madman, so stopped
doing that and carried on
Car looked nice, whoever it was

Erm, something of a revival (was this really 5 years ago?!)
I still havent sorted it, but thinking of starting again on wiring in the
thing again. There's that much wiring in the engine bay from a carb'd car,
then EFi, then FRST that I think ignoring it might be a good option.
Right now, my
Hmmm.thought you might say that!
OK, plan B is for steels instead - am I right in thinking that there's a
different bolt used for steels than there is for alloys on the Mk2 Fiesta?

It should fit fine, I had an Ashley manifold on a Saloon which went into a
pattern exhaust, as long as it's not the XR Challenge exhausts then the
bore size is the same (2 inch I think).
You shouldnt lose any power, but you might not make many gains with just
this. A 4 into 1 manifold will

I've got to the point where I have puddles in the front and rear drivers

it's probably as good as ever
Hello all, happy weekend
Kind of related to the rain, my seats have gone a bit mouldy and need
replacing. I'm about to get some nice wing backs on Mk2 runners. I seem to
recall that there's a mod that needs to be done on the runners to make them
fit.
Have I got that right, or was it Mk3.5
.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Mk2 seat runners / 2+2
Hello all, happy weekend

2 drill bits and a chisel down on the rivets, I think I need to invest in
an angle grinder! I've worked out how to mount them to the car though, just
need to take each of the legs/mount points off
Thanks for the help

Update to this one, the runners are too short! The way the seats are
mounted is on a pair of L brackets, photo attached. These brackets act in
place of the legs that would normally be on the runners. They're drilled
right next to the 'hump' that the seat floor would just scrape
get the
seat where I want it for my legs without running into the seatbelt area on
the seat back and an added bonus is my head's not touching the roof anymore
either.
Thanks for all help and advice

Thanks Jim. The Rover seats
Careful with that one, the competition exhaust is larger than standard 2 inch
bore so would need the manifold to go with it
Ashleywork for a while then rot is normally the way they go, that'd be
years rather than months though

They're just 501 types. You can get LED replacements but I always seem to break
them or put them in the wrong way so stick with bulbs instead
If youve got that the green tint it comes from a plastic dome inside the
clockset that comes out either with a screwdriver or by removing it carefully
Hi all
I'm trying to track down the owner of this Saloon, which they may have
bought from a reasonably nice bloke up in Gretna.
The wheels that it came to the owner on were 6 spoke 14 inch Zender alloys.
They were on my 2+2 that I sold, then bought back, then gave to the
Saloon's previous
Anyone fancy it?

I've been thinking about my 2+2, it's probably the quickest Quantum I've
owned. The last one I had was running a 1.6 CVH with twin 40 DCNFs and a
Kent CVH22, which was OK, but still a bit slow.
The current one is a 1.6 CVH turbo EFi, with a 165 chip and standard
injectors. I think it'd
Both the coolant temperature sender and the fan switch take readings from the
head in a cvh don't they, just in 2 different locations? Gauge at the front of
the head and fan switch on the distributor side?
I've run without a thermostat a number of times but its not ideal. I think I'd
