Hi Unman
Thanks ! Thats is exactly what I wanted to accomplish. Although I could use a
little clarification on a couple things.

I ran this command and there are three ip addresses listed for most of the
qubes. Going
I just tried to switch my USB keyboard and USB mouse over to the PS2 inputs
with adapters but neither work.
My question is does Qubes use installable modules for PS2 support? Is support
for PS2 compiled into the kernel or is it dynamic?
It may be a hardware issue, but I just thought I'd ask
Noor Christensen,
thank you very much. I changed the settings with the following command:
setxkbmap -layout us,se -option grp:alt_shift_toggle
Now, I am able to switch layouts in my VM with ALT + Left Shift. However, I
replaced the layouts with my choice of layout options.

I can recommend the HP Z240, i have the SFF Version with i7-6700 and 64GB Ram.
I bought the workstation from the HP Outlet Store with only 4gb of ram, but a
1TB NVME SSD and got the Ram seperately. Everything cost me around 1100$ a few
months back, i think the RAM prices went up a bit since

Sure. This didn't work:
$ qvm-start hvm

I just copied the debian ISO to dom0 and it booted (installing at this very
moment, let's see if works).
So it can't boot the ISO from inside another VM... No idea why... And yes, I
checked the path many times, even moved and renamed to a short path
(/home/user/a.iso) and set permissions to 777.
So, pressing the Shift Key from Starting the box *should* bring up the
Grub menu.
Sometimes, I've tried keeping it pressed, or just repeatedly hammering
on the key from start.
If you really cant get a grub menu, then you can use a live distro to
fix the problem. If you dont have one they are

Keep calm.
Reboot the box.
At the GRUB menu, select Qubes and press "e" - these instructions are at
the bottom of the screen.
This will allow you to edit the boot options - delete the pesky
"rd.qubes.hide_all_usb" everywhere you see it.

I'm looking to create a close-to-original-as-possible Windows 7 environment
that I can run in fullscreen mode.
I'd like to keep Alt+Space and CTRL+Shift+C/V enabled, but disable the rest of
the xfce shortcuts and pass that input directly to the VM (eg Alt+Tab).
Is there a simple way to do
