At the moment, I have the 2 guests under the guest set up so that when I have
the answer to the NIC issue, I can then perform the dom0 update and install the
3 pieces of software I need to then be able to install the software I want to
install under it.
But this whole thing is very annoying.
I will try that next time. Nothing on the screen works. I can still move the
mouse curser anywhere but nothing happens when I click. It is very strange.
It is an Asus x750j laptop running Qubes 2 on an ssd instead of the original
hdd. Otherwise it works well.

I will do so next time it happens. It isn't my everyday laptop, so it will be
a week or two before I require Qubes.

Hi, I run qubes 3.2 on a dell desktop (core4duo gen xeon),

Then one day, I did not change anything besides updating qubes 3.2 when

after reading much info I installed Qubes 3.2, and later I installed Ubuntu
16.04 as HVM. However, ubuntu HVM does not even resize the window. I've no
tried more features but I suspect the whole integration is awful.
I tried to install qubes-gui and core agent for Debian 8 wit

Hi,
I'm a new user so I am not sure which practical problems are due my
misconfigurations, misunderstandings and which are due hardware difficulties.
Had to use legacy mode when installing Qubes (with UEFI did not find Qubes when
starting).
Haven't yet managed to use video camera. Otherwise
Are only AppVMs frozen? (Can you still interact with dom0?)
Can you switch to tty2 (Ctrl+Alt+F2, and Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get back) and
log in there? If so, maybe you can figure out what's gone wrong via
command line tools?

I ran into a weird (and not consistently reproducible) issue with my 2-monitor
setup (UHD main screen + FHD secondary) adjusting the 'display' settings
(changing the alignment of the 2 monitors).

screen, to 'below' the lo
I got a cheap price on a used HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF desktop machine. I
stuck Qubes on it, and it looks like everything installed correctly. Tor is
