No, it's not showing in /dev. Thanks for your help but after 3 days trying to
use Qubes OS 4, I gave up and decided to go back to the 3.2 version witch work
perfectly for me. There is a few things I dont like in the 4 version, like the
new Qubes Manager. I love Qubes OS but this is not what I was expecting. So I
will wait for the next version (or update). Thanks again.

I just did sudo lspci -v and i confirm that the RAID Controler is loaded in
RAID5 mode.

I use the motherboard BIOS legacy ROM and it works on 3.2 version so I was
expecting it to work on the 4 version. May be I should try with a PCI card.

Thanks for your answer. I will try that. I dont understand why Anaconda see the
disk during installation, but Qubes OS 4 does not see the disk after
installation. It does not make sense. :/

[qubes-users] Qubes 4 does not see my RAID 5 disk but 3.2 does

2018-03-29 Thread Paf LeGeek
Hello,

I installed Qubes OS 4 (final release) today, but it does not see my 3 disks
array RAID 5 (encrypted with luks) even with the command "sudo pvs".
It's an hardware RAID on a Asus Sabertooth 990FX V2 motherboard.

So I got back to the Qubes OS 3.2 version which see the RAID 5 disk without any
problem.

Any idea ?

Thanks

Re: [qubes-users] VPN ProxyVM rc.local

2016-08-15 Thread Paf LeGeek
I use the Debian 8 Template so the rc.local file is in the /etc/ folder not in
the /rw/ folder. As I said, the script works find if i launch it manually in my
ProxyVM terminal.

This is the content of my rc.local

#!/bin/sh -e
#
# rc.local
#
# This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel.
# Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other
# value on error.
#
# In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution
# bits.
#
# By default this script does nothing.

groupadd -rf qvpn ; sleep 2s
sg qvpn -c 'openvpn --cd /etc/openvpn/ --config myopenvpnfile.ovpn \
--daemon --writepid /var/run/openvpn/openvpn-client.pid'

exit 0

[qubes-users] VPN ProxyVM rc.local

2016-08-14 Thread Paf LeGeek
Hello !

I am trying to follow the steps in the link below to make a ProxyVpn with VPN
autostart :
https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/vpn/

But my rc.local does not start on my ProxyVM.

I did the commands below on my Debian 8 Template VM :

sudo chmod +x /etc/rc.local
systemctl disable openvpn.service

The rc.local service is enable.

This is the result of ls -l :
user@debian-8-vpn:~$ ls -l /etc/rc.local
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 472 Aug 14 22:30 /etc/rc.local

If I start the rc.local with sudo sh /etc/rc.local using the terminal on my
ProxyVM, it's working.

So, why my rc.local does not start automatically on my ProxyVM ?

Thanks for your help.
