[qubes-users] Re: HCL - Lenovo Yoga 900 13ISK
Hi, No, with Qubes 3.2 everything except for the touchpad (and the touchscreen, which I don't use because gnome doesn't really play nice with qubes in my experience) worked out of the box, including the Wifi. It was different with 3.1, however, I had to make several tweaks before it even booted and when it did, it would only work with the legacy BIOS mode. Wifi didn't work then either. I haven't installed qubes to the internal ssd though, but only to a second USB stick with 128gb, so maybe that could be part of your problem. - Q: Why is this email five sentences or less? [qubes-users] Re: HCL - Lenovo Yoga 900 13ISK
Hi there, Yes, in fact, this issue I've encountered not only with qubes but with all major Linux distributions I have installed so far on the Yoga 900. Workaround: Install a custom kernel implementing the following small change Add in the line dev->sda_hold_time = 30; In /drivers/i2c/busses/i2c-designware-platdrv.c After dw_i2c_acpi_params(pdev, "FMCN"... sda_hold_time); It's somewhere around line 130 if I remember correctly Compile and install the custom kernel in qubes according to the official guide at https://qubes-os.org/doc/managing-vm-kernel Hope this helps!
