Dear spm users and all,
I am glad to inform you that the spm package is available on CRAN again. It
is an updated version with a few bugs fixed. Please note that some
functions in the package are not only for spatial predictive modelling but
also for predictive modeling in general.

Hi Enoch,
Here is a book chapter that provides R scripts for using random forest to
classify categorical data: 'Predicting seabed hardness using random forest
in R' 2013.

Have you looked at spsurvey? It may not provide what you need, but
checking it would probably help you see whether there is anything
meeting your needs. Otherwise you might need to stratify first on
your covariates.

it, I would like to confirm if I have missed some other functions that are
available for it in R. Any suggestions and advice? Thanks in advance!

The effects of spatial reference systems on the predictive accuracy have been
preliminarily tested recently. Please see

Reference Systems for Predicting Marine Environmental Variables? In:

function to implement this in R.
Many thanks for any suggestions.

was wondering if it is possible in R. I
searched but failed to find a right function to implement this in R.
Many thanks for any suggestions.
