see, you don't need the volume name for the default volume
and you would probably be better off using /'s.
Here is an example of a path to a mounted CD:

session I did observe the ghost-text phenomenon. In
my case it was a column of numbers interrupted by the name of a dataframe that
did not happen to be loaded at the time, but was referenced in an source
document that was being edited using the GUI facilities.
