Rebooting the router doesnt help, but rebooting the Radio does.
I have a Dlink 655 connected as a switch (direct access to the internet
without local IP)

Life with SBR has been wonderful--just the odd glitch from time to
time--until today. Three of my favorite stations are C-SPAN Radio(90.1
FM WCSP-FM) and the audio of C-SPAN and C-SPAN2. They have been very
reliable--until today. Suddenly, I get a message that these "streams
are not compatible" wi
If your Radio was last connected to MySB.com then that is where the
Radio will connect to when your start up the Radio.
No local server will be accessed or woken up.

If your Radio is (or was last) connected to SBS then "switch to MySB"
will be on the home menu. If Radio is (or was last) on MySB then this
menu item will not appear.
Are you sure your router is not blocking Radio from connecting to
MySB.com?
Try rebooting the router?
This all works fine for me
I also wonder if this problems relates to the Radio only or is the Boom
just the same when it comes to switching servers?

Most often I uses my Radio for webradio through mysqueezebox.com.
But sometimes I want to listen to music from my local PC (that is not
always turned on)
If I understand this OK, the Radio now totally connects to the local
squeezeserver (including webradio handling etc).
When I turn off my PC, the

If the even the oldest Squeezeboxes were able to display a realtime
spectrum or the levels of both stereo channels, you would think the
Radio should be more than capable to monitor the level of the audio
signal.
Then again, I don't even think that this would be necessary if the

Well the Radio has a trigger happy fallback mechanism that would kick in
case of network failures, even if they are very short or inconsequential

Well better safe than sorry you get the funky tune , good morning :)
But no fallback system may it be radio boom or your local server checks

Don't get this really, I have my radio connected to mysb.com rather than
my network.
I want it to play BBC Radio 1 when my alarm goes off in the morning.
Instead though it plays some funky 70's riff repeatedly.
What am I doing wrong??

I've been streaming CBC 1 Saskatchewan (I'm guessing this is your
station) without any issues.
Try connecting directly to MySB.com to stream it, this will take your
NAS out of the equation, see how it does then.

Fraggledweller,
The "mms://" make the situation a bit confusing as it covers rtsp, http
as well as mms protocols. The BBC do not use the mms protocol so your
problem is different to the OP.
Have you disabled native "Windows Media" under WebUI
Settings/Advanced/Filetypes ? AFAIK there is no facil
