The radio can be had without battery, so the program is saved in prom :)

As already mentioned, 6 hours is the official Logitech estimate. My
experience, when I have had it on long enough at one stretch to run the
battery down to the warning level, is that it has run 9-10 hours. That
is not at full blast but loud enough so I could hear it across the room
and I am not in
Thanks for the replies...I am outside the UK and the squeezebox radio
has the BBC Radio applet installed that connects through Squeeze.com
(not through a Squeezebox Server)using WMA format (I had re-buffering
issues using AAC). On Demand does work using the BBC web site.

Let's look at this from the Logitech viewpoint.
I suspect that the radio is not much of a revenue generator for
Logitech relative to other products, given the radio's sparse sales and
underwhelming reception from the press and reviewers. Also, I doubt
that the whole Squeezebox product line is g

I had it set to auto brightness, but just to play along I set it to
manual, and at max brightn
Honestly, I'm pretty much 100% convinced, that at least some people at
Logitech are fully aware of how crappy the whole alarm design and
implementation is and chose to ignore it for whatever reason. As they
chose to ignore all the other flaws and bugs. Heck, it's not like there

I'm in the UK. Can't play AAC on demand today, but WMA OK. BBC iplayer
app on website OK.

In case anyone in the UK is interested, John Lewis in Sloane Square
(Peter Jones) are selling the Radio with free accessory pack for
£114.95. I don't know if this applies to all their stores, and I
couldn't see anything about it on their website. The Sloane Square
store had 3 of the accessory pack

I actually got mine to resume a local file from hard off by just power
it up ?
But Radio is not very predicable, maybe waiting 5 minutes will get the
server to forget about it..

It will do this if you hit Play from standby. It will not do this
hitting the power button.

Since it is a BBC problem - there is nothing Triode needs to do.
While the applet advice is good - many users of SB3, Boom etc have this
problem so all they need to do is change the BBC iPlayer plugin settings
(WebUI Settings/Advanced/BBC iPplayer) to use WMA.

Make sure to note your screen brightness when you post your results
again. :) Not sure how much of an impact it may have, but it could sway
the results even just a little
Hi bpa,
I had the same trauma last night when I tried to listen to On Demand
AAC on the Iplayer and the Iplayer extra applets. I am outside the UK
and neither work since yesterday, giving me the same error message you
mention. They do not work on Squeezeplay on my pc either. But the

it uses around 3w in standby.

I am outside the UK. Location is important as UK and non UK are served
differently.
I have problem playing the AAC stream but the WMA seems to be OK.
Check if you can play the program on the BBC Website. The website
doesn't play for me which means it is a BBC problem and not one which
can be s
