It'll give your mom an excuse to phone you all the time to get you to
come home and fix it.
In reality though, it's been quite stable recently. Touch wood.

Yes, you're quite correct, just a short press, not press and hold.

Yeah, you don't want to mess with that feature on the Radio. It is
meant for players with audio outs to a stereo or self powered speakers.

Thank you for this fast response!
For some reason i haven't had a checkbox to toggle the Fixed Volume
setting.
I completely removed LMS from my system now and set it up again.
Well I didn't get / enable an checkbox (or similar) "Fixed Volume"
option.
But the SB is working well again.

Good Evening,
i got the Squeezebox Radio on X-Mas (about an half Month ago).
Today I surfed through it's preferences and tested the "Fixed Volume"
setting.
The Squeezebox connected to mysqueezebox.com and got verry loud.
Now I'm not anymore able to Adjust the SqueezeboxVolume.

For whatever reason, I can no longer find the options to change
libraries (or switch between local and squeezenetwork). It was there
briefly, then disappeared.
I've tried doing a restore to no avail. Can anyone help?

Yes, I would guess though that the BT home hub is one of the most, if
not the most common router in the UK so this could be coincidence and
nothing more.
The most annoying thing for me was that my radio was the only device
affected, my sb3, booms and touch were all fine.

I am also thinking of getting a SB-Radio for my mom, more or less
entirely for listening to radio.
Is it possible to do so only using a MySB.com account or would she need
to set up the server as well?? I am obviously looking to minimize the
added complexity of having a server up and running...

Is the Roberts linked to Reciva or Vtuner?
I've had several Recivas - used to swear by them despite the lack of
firmware updates, etc.
Switched last year to a Touch and a Radio. I'm happy with both -

I have mixed feelings with the squeezeboxes. The features are great and
if it runs, it s awesome. But the software is very buggy. And every
single time they roll out a patch, they fuck up something else. The
servers are pretty reliable i think. But that doesn t matter when the
software fucks up. I
Another newbie question if you don't mind everyone!
I still don't know if I should get a Roberts 83i or a Sqeezebox radio.
Just mainly want it for listening to podcasts, listen again and
internet radio and maybe the odd bit of music from my local PC.
I currenty have an Evoke Flow and it's very

You can still play your local music?
Right click the little Logitech server icon in your system tray, select
Control Panel > Diagnostics, what is reported for ALL pings, ports,
IP's?
Might be as simple as stopping then restarting the server program to
clear ports needed for stations.

Since the last update i have a strange problem. My squeezebox radio is
connected to mysqueezebox.com and i have an alarm set. The alarm goes
off normal, everything works fine. Then i press the "Off" button too
shut off the alarm and the device, so that the clock is displayed. If i
