LOL :)
I love the shuttle image, too funny. Duck Brand duct tape (now
ShurTech Brands) is one of my industrial customers, I'm sending that
pic to my contact there.
They actually have an annual Duct Tape Festival in the home town of
Duck Brand, Avon Ohio. Thousands participate every year.

You haven't seen the 'battery installation tips'
Your battery being flat shouldn't be a problem, as the remote is also
quite flat. If you wish to charge the battery anyway, here is 'how to
build your own charger'

You're corrrect, when You look at the pictures theres no way that
battery fits in that tiny remote :-D

I can't see how to fit the battery in to the remote. It is much too big.
I temporarily used soldered connections such that I could use the
battery external to the remote, but was disappointed to discover that
the battery was flat. Have any of you had success?

When I contemplated building my own battery for the Radio, I had
problems finding cheap parts with cheap shipping.
I ended up with the choice between building a $40 "pirate" battery or
buying a $50 original battery.
I admit I didn't go to any enormous effort looking for parts, and

It's a $5 remote + $10 battery + $35 in packaging.

But admit that this is a strange bundling what has a remote and a
battery do do with each other ? I want a pair of nice varm socks with
my battery :)
As the remote is very cheap, why not include it with the radio not the
battery ? This will make the radio even cooler as the remote is
magnetic and

Just think of it as a $50 battery, and free remote!

I do agree the remote & battery should be sold separately. But the
remote likely adds only $5 to your Accessory Pack purchase.
Kinda like hot dogs being sold ten to a pack and hot dog buns being
sold eight to a pack.
A minor annoyance and hardly worth getting worked up over. ;)
BTW: Logitech
Don't complain, in Denmark the accessory pack costs 67$!!! 379DKK
Guess what - I'm not buying one.

It sounds like you're talking to Logitech, in which case you're in the
wrong forum. To find Logitech's official forum you have to follow 'this
