With the auto adjustment enabled the screen goes really dim. Do not be
affraid. I sleep in a dark room, and the screen is so dim that it is

FYI, I designed the dimming circuit for the display, and I'm super
paranoid about things keeping me up at night. I made it so that even in
a darkened bedroom, the dimmest setting is just readable. The current
software does auto-dimming, or manual dimming -- you choose. There is
still some

I'm glad this has been asked and appears to have been addressed. I am
also a sleeper who is extremely sensitive to lights in my room, to the
point that I've had to put tape over the lights on many things such as
the base to my Harmony remote that is in the bedroom.

It goes very dim in a dark room. If you turn the knob or touch any
buttons, it will light up so you can read the screen and then go back to
dim after a short time.
If you want it completely dark, you can set off mode to screen off.
I'm pretty sure that in this case turning the knob would not
