With the auto adjustment enabled the screen goes really dim. Do not be affraid. I sleep in a dark room, and the screen is so dim that it is getting hard to even read the time. I would like to see an option where you can set the max dim and the max bright for the auto adjustment. -- Amauta

FYI, I designed the dimming circuit for the display, and I'm super paranoid about things keeping me up at night. I made it so that even in a darkened bedroom, the dimmest setting is just readable. The current software does auto-dimming, or manual dimming -- you choose. There is still some

It goes very dim in a dark room. If you turn the knob or touch any buttons, it will light up so you can read the screen and then go back to dim after a short time. If you want it completely dark, you can set off mode to screen off. I'm pretty sure that in this case turning the knob would not
