years I will not be back asking for your help trying to find the
disappeared C-SPAN TV audio streams again.

by the way, how are you finding these particular URLs?

I am grateful to both garym and castalla (whose name I think I remember

And thanks to mpower9 for starting the thread!

I've checked them and all four are different and pretty identifiable
with the streams on the C-Span website.

Thanks for the help!

I have checked the two links that garym provided. One is C-SPAN Radio
the other is the audio to the C-SPAN (1) video stream. But Harkaway and
I are very greedy and we would also like the links to the audio streams
for the C-SPAN2 and C-SPAN3 channels.

FYI, Harkaway, podcasts are available for the Book TV After Words
program. You can listen if you install the Podcast Player and add the
URL: http://www.c-span.org/content/xml/podcast/aw_feed.xml

Thanks. For other readers, install the podcast app at your account at
mysqueezebox.com, and add the URL above at the app page on mysb.com.
Then your podcasts will show up on any SB player, even when you are

Thanks for the suggestion for the Afterwords podcast. I'm already a
subscriber, but you probably agree with me that it isn't enough. I
live in the UK, so I can't see these shows except on the computer.
It's much easier to listen to them, which I've been doing for years.
Of course, if C-Span put more than the first 10 minutes of any segment
on Youtube it would be much easier.

garym
You've been brilliant with the two feeds you've provide, but there are
two more, just as mpower9 has said. If you can figure out how to get
them, I'll be very grateful, but what you've already done has been
great. It's lovely that there is a community here who offer help.

Thanks for all you've done.

I have access on two other internet radios (through Reciva and through

Email C-SPAN, inform them that their change to Flash based streams means
many hardware devices (non-computer devices) can no longer get C-SPAN.
You could also ask them for a non-Flash direct stream URL that you can

FYI - C-SPAN covers the Congress and related civic and public issues

website:

C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created in 1979 by the cable
television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide
public access to the political process. C-SPAN receives no government
funding; operations are funded by fees paid by cable and satellite
affiliates who carry C-SPAN programming.
