As you all know, DOS applications are being phased out and are no longer

Bruce,
Great observation!

I have gotten a number of e-mails with e-mail links on the body of the e-mail
from people I have not heard in years and many I don’t even know. Looks like a
trunk e-mail server got hacked somewhere. E-mails are coming mostly from
overseas domains; the IP is catching some and I am hard deleting
Steve,
The e-mail is not being sent from my account, my e-mail address is being shown

That happened to me! A neighbor called me to say they had gotten a phone call

the phone up and it was a telemarketer. I called the phone company, and they
said there was nothing to be done about it. They said

It's been decades since I've had to deal with Quickbooks, and it wasn't exactly
a joy back then...
Someone just asked me about sending stuff from RBase into Quickbooks (they do
not own QB yet, so it would be a new version of the software).
Has anyone here used a new version of QB and let me
Well, that's the QB I know and love
They wouldn't be sending huge amounts of data. An interesting thought... I'll
ask them whether they really need all the detail entered into QB or whether
they can just type in daily or weekly numbers with a PDF backup.

Yeah, but trying to send any significant amount of data in one go takes from
now until dooms day. Cut and paste just isn’t the same thing as a data dump and
import.

I had dealings with the founders of Intuit back in the day.
QuickBooks was designed quickly as an afterthought for a
rapidly-expanding business customer base, enthusiastic/frustrated with
the early Quicken product; which itself was developed as the razor which

Yes, we actually tried that QB translator years ago, and if I remember
correctly, QB could not handle our attempts to bring in a multi-row Sales
detail. It had to be a one-to-one header/detail transaction. We worked with
RBTI closely on it (it was me and David Blocker actually), and there was
Hi Karen
Are they looking at the desktop version or Quickbooks Online? If it is QBO
they have an API that developers can use to connect.

I have a problem with my date fields. For years I have processed selected
records controlled by a starting and ending variable in selecting records by
date or date range. All of a sudden I get the message #2059 No Records Found.
When testing I use a browse command to find my problem and get
Angelo,
That is the result of your DATE SEQUENCE settings to MMDD.
Change the DATE settings as follows:
SET DATE FORMAT MM/DD/
SET DATE SEQUENCE MMDDYY
That should take care of it.
Very Best R:egards,
