Jim, Tempe Bike does rentals. http://tempebicycle.com/page.cfm?pageID=62 both of their locations are near ASU. I suspect you'll be closer to Glendale, (an hour from Tempe?). Casa Grande is probably an hour, hour and half from Tempe. I have no idea if they have a bike your size. (I don't).
