Mine is a 52 with 26 wheels. I run 37s in it (no 38s made for 26 afaik) and there is a bit of room left. I don't know of a 34 or 35 in 26 to try the fenders with, hence my comment about using them successfully with 32s. From: Johnny Alien

I don't know if it's wrong or not... But IIRC and if I understand the picture, it does not have the magic slanted rear dropout that would enable truly simple rear gear changes (i.e. you would not need to realign the rear brake after a change in tooth count). Does anyone else remember it that way?

One thing I find odd about Rambouillets is the odd ump in size. I am most comfortable on a 53 but should be fine on a 54. But the next size lower is not only 2cm smaller but also has 26 wheels which will cause a pretty big drop in standover height. So a 52 would definitely 100% be way to small.
